An easier cockatoo to live with

Galahs are affectionate and love to play, but they are more independent and even-tempered than clingy giants like the Moluccan cockatoo or the Umbrella cockatoo. That balance makes the rose-breasted one of the better cockatoos for a busy but committed owner: it still wants daily company and out-of-cage time, yet it copes better with normal family routines and is far less prone to the extreme separation anxiety of the big whites.
