About My Cockatoo Bird

My Cockatoo Bird is a dedicated cockatoo breeder based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. For more than six years we have hand-raised cockatoos – and only cockatoos – placing tame, healthy, well-socialised birds with families across the United States. We are not a general bird store or a broker; every cockatoo we sell is raised by us.

Our story

We started out of a simple love for these intelligent, affectionate, endlessly characterful parrots. Over the years that passion grew into a small, focused breeding programme built around getting one thing right: raising cockatoos that are genuinely ready to be part of a family. We hand-feed our chicks, handle them daily, and get to know each bird’s personality before it ever goes to a new home.
